The Fund for Change supports systems change, community organizing, and advocacy efforts in the following areas:

Housing and Community Development

Behavioral Health and Healing

Criminal Justice Reform

Environmental Justice

The Fund Does Not Support

Capital campaigns

Indirect costs: the fund does not pay for overhead or indirect costs for large organizations or academic institutions; all grant money received has to be used for direct program expenses
Endowments
Publications
Scholarships
Individuals

The average grant size is $10,000-25,000 although there are exceptions on both ends.

At this time, the Fund does not make multi-year grant commitments, but organizations are welcome to reapply.  Organizations are eligible to apply once per year and not in back-to-back grant cycles.
